If a paper alignment problem occurs as shown below, do the following procedure to adjust the jogger width.
Adjust according to the width of the paper used.
This adjustment procedure is explained using SP6-143-004 (A4 LEF) as an example.
Place the original (A4 LEF) on the exposure glass.
Select the staple function. (You may choose any stapling position.)
Press [Start].
Sheets are delivered to the staple tray and stop with a gap of 10 mm on each side.
Place the sheets flush against the rear jogger fence.
There will be a gap of 20 mm at the front [A].
Measure the gap between the front jogger fence and paper with the scale.
After measurement, press [#]. (The paper is delivered.)
Using SP6-143-004 (Jogger Pos Adj:1K FIN: A4 LEF), adjust the jogger width so that the front and rear gaps add up to 19.5 mm [A]. (It is possible to adjust by ±1.5 mm for each paper size.)
Repeat Steps 3 to 7 to adjust the jogger width.
- Adjust so that the jogger width is slightly narrower (paper width - 0.5 mm) than the paper size.
